Definitely make me a dull girl. Can I just say that I finally understand why Jack Nicholson went off on a murderous rampage in The Shining? Man, have I been cranky this week!
Exhaustion bit me hard. I think it’s just the trickle down effect of the after-holiday wind down, the stress of meeting that deadline, and deciding what to work on next. I didn’t realize I was on such an emotional/creative high until this week, when I crashed. I’m still working on my WIPs… my editing/cleaning up is much sharper this week than it normally is. Mostly because the muse is like, ‘listen woman, I need a nap, you’re a freaking slave driver.’
I feel kind of bad. She looks battered and exhausted. And she keeps giving me the evil eye. I can’t imagine I look much better. Ha ha.
Anyway, I’ve decided I need to make time for play. I’m hitting the movie theatre this weekend, though I can’t decide what I want to watch. It’s a toss up between P.S. I Love You and Juno. Both are obviously very different ‘feels’. I’m not sure if I want to laugh or cry, though laughter might be better for me in this delicate mental state I’m in. 
Then again, Gerard Butler. *sigh* How is a woman supposed to make that kind of decision? Grr…
