It’s Showtime

Thanks to everyone who wished me well. *hugs* I’m feeling MUCH better. Getting stronger everyday, and finding that this liquid diet, though lacking in yummy cheeseburgers or chicken, is doing a great number on my waist. I slipped on a (previously) snug pair of jeans today without a hitch. It was kind of nice. 😉 Disclaimer: I am in no way advocating this as a weight loss solution. I miss my real food, although I don’t hate the jello. It’s pretty good.

This is the week of the show. I can’t believe it. It feels like it took a lifetime to get here, and now that it hit March, I feel like it came way too quickly. Are as prepared as we should be? I don’t know. It doesn’t feel the same as it has in the past. It feels like the date sort of snuck up on us. But, on a bright note, I have to say, I think we might have something special. It took long enough for it to come together as a production, for the cast to function as a unit. There was a lot of backstage drama that clouded out a lot of the onstage stuff. But we’re finally getting excited, finally showing real progress. It’s pretty great.

I have dress rehearsal tomorrow and Tuesday night. Then, Wednesday is opening! Our costumes are being washed and pressed, I’m getting gel and hairspray to tease my hair, and I have to rip a few holes in my fishnets (classy, huh?). I’ll see if I can post a few pictures. At the very least of our set. IT looks AMAZING.

I’ll be back with news this weekend! Until then, enjoy your week everyone!<
