This weekend has been one of the best I’ve had in a long time. On Sunday I went to my friend Ariel’s wedding. His family remind me so much of my own, I felt completely at home. We danced and laughed and partied all night. I stuck to my diet which I’m insanely proud of. 😀 Overall, it was a beautiful, joyous event, as well it should be. I hope he and Patricia have a long and happy life together.
On Monday, I decided to *gasp* play hookie from work and went out to Atlantic City with my ‘fake’ mom and her son, and my mother in law. We take random trips all the time. They were the ones who went to Newport with me! 😀 Ha, ha. We’re adventorous what can I say? So we hit the Boardwalk, window shopped, got to see one of those mime-stone guys who paint themselves silver and dont move. Except this one blew me a kiss. Ha, ha. My mother in law told him to watch it. It was hilarious.
The highlight for me? Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum. I’ve always wanted to go. The curiosities in there defy the imagination. Honestly, when I left, I felt like a kid again! 🙂 I laughed, I walked, I hung out, got a bit sunburned, got some great 99 cent sunglasses and came home exhausted and satisfied with having enjoyed one of the best summer days thus far outdoors.
Hope you all had a great weekend! What’d you do?
