Step 1- Breathe

I’ve done it. I sent out my agent query letter. I feel faint. And excited. Nervous. Terrified. Wow. Too many emotions to really name. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but man it would be great. 😀 I’ll have to keep you guys posted.

I’m still having some serious trouble with this novella. I don’t understand why it won’t come to me. I know what I have to write but I’m having so much trouble actually writing it! *sigh* Maybe I have to just tell myself it’s not important. That I don’t have a deadline. That it’s not that important. I think the pressure is stifling my creativity.

Either way, I’m hoping that some reading will help relax me. I think it’s just too much between my new job, training, lack of sleep, etc. But I’ve got some good stuff in the TBR pile. Spell of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning. I LOVE her and I’m gearing up for the release of Bloodfever.  I also have a new YA to dig into. The Red Queen’s Daughter. I’ll give you guys the 411 on it. 😉

Hope you all had a great Monday!
