So, in the midst of trying to make this a relax weekend, so that I can fully recover from the ear infection gone horribly awry, hubby and I decided to rent the first season of Heroes, which we’ve heard so much about. I had always wanted to see it but the night and time were in constant conflict with my personal schedule.
As with most things that are too hyped up, I inevitably prepared myself to be disappointed. 🙂 I still believe that’s the best way to go into a project. With the lowest possible expectations so in the end, you’re not disappointed. It turned out to be tons better than I thought possible!
Now, about 4 disks in, I’m already formulating all sorts of theories. I love that the show is visually and mentally stimulating. That there are different characters and storylines. It makes for some great thought processes.
So I apologize for not coming around last night to wish you all a very happy weekend. But, I’ve been on the couch, wrapped in my blanket and jammies, watching Heroes in silence (since I’ve lost my voice due to this awful cold). Don’t feel bad for me. I’m actually having a great time. Ha ha. Although I have to get back to my own writing eventually, this is a nice little mental vacation.
Happy (belated) Weekend!
