I’m a terrible person to leave you all worried about me the way I did. I meant to post an update twitter, but I’ve been passed out, sleeping, trying to recuperate. I went to the docs and they found a slew of things wrong with me, most of which could very well be prevented if I drank more water, and others (like my very painful ovarian cyst) which cannot.
Either way, as you imagine, I’ve been laid out and useless for a few days now. Mostly battling intense nausea and stomach pain like you wouldn’t imagine from the dehydration and the stomach flu. It seems, despite my attempt to drink water, I’m still not drinking enough. Every time I sip more, it makes my stomach turn violently. So I’m moving onto other options. Gingerale. Crackers. They’re my best friends.
I’m going to try and go back to work tomorrow, mostly because I need to get paid so I can go grocery shopping. But, we’ll see how it goes. I have a terrible feeling I may not last all day. :-
